Survivor Series: The Nesting Cult

Survivor Series is War Head's squad building challenge, inspired by Blanchitsu and the joint brilliance of the gentlemen of Iron Sleet.  Our models don't necessarily belong to any specific armies, and might not be represented by an existing set of rules; the atmosphere is all that counts. A loose theme to tie all the individual squads together is 'survivors'. Are you ready?

The Church of D'gon was a striving hybrid cult of Xeno origin. Nesting in the forsaken, lower levels of Hive City Neo Albion, these mutant-hybrids were able to survive the conditions of the radiation zone thanks to their Genestealer mutagen. As the years went by, their numbers grew stronger and the cult leaders would begin to plan their rise - and the conquest of the city above. Until the kill-raid of the vigilant Adeptus Arbites...

Today the lone Magus and his twisted followers are all that remain of the Church of D'gon. Their cult was able to flee and survive the Arbites attack but was forced to press deeper and deeper into the sewer network. Lurking in the dark corners they now wait for redemption - and the coming of the Purebreed.

Muonanetsintäpartion aseistetut etujoukot etenevät varovasti viemäriverkoston ja katakombien väliseen käytävään. Antti yhdisteli Genesteraler-Hybridejä luovasti Tyranid-osista ja kaikenmoisista humanoidibitseistä. Irvokkaat naamavärkit on napattu Fantasy Battlen Ghoul-sprueista.

Pimeydessä ravaa myös raivokas hybridimutantti, jonka pohja on samoin Vampire Counts -mallistosta.

Genestealer-mutaatio on edennyt kultisteissa eri tahtia. Varustuksena mutanteilla on primitiivisen kömpelöt luotiaseet.

Yksi kultisteista ei ole vielä saanut mutaatiota, joten tämä tekeytyy Genestealeriksi kantamalla Tyranid-pääkalloa mukanaan.

Maguksen henkivartijana toimii valtava, raskaasti varustettu hybridi, joka polttaa viemäreistä Arbites-vakoojat ja kaiken maailman rottamiehet tiehensä.

Kaiken takana on likaisiin kaapuihin kietoutunut Magus, joka unelmoi edelleen kaupunginvalloituksesta ja yhdyskunnan perustamisesta. Kultin tulee kasvaa...
