This Sunday it was time for some twin-linked action as we threw another 40K Doubles Tournament on our Fight Club premises! The tourney featured our heavy hobby score system and a special side event - War Head's Classics Bazaar and a free-for-all miniatures flea market, which attracted a lot of attention! Many people got their old stuff sold and others made great deals out of the used models and books - a win-win hobby weekend for everybody. The event ended in great spirits with team Trigger Happiness securing the victory and Darryn Lee's Death Korps and Ukko Kaarto's Skitarii Maniple recording the Best Army Awards.
40K-tuplaturnauksessa oli tänään tupa täynnä ja (kuuma) kesätunnelma katossa, kun samaan tilaan ympättiin pelien vaatimat taistelukentät sekä mittava ja vilkkaasti liikennöity figukirpputori. Omien bitsboksiemme, klassikkoblisterien ja muiden varastojen aarteiden lisäksi myyntipöydille raahattiin mielenkiintoista second hand -kamaa useista pelijärjestelmistä ja edikoiden takaa. Oli jälleen hauska tarkastella innokkaiden shoppailijoiden ilmeitä näiden törmätessä nostalgisiin figuaarteisiin tai ohittamattomiin tarjouksiin päivän aikana.
Fluffiturnauksen palkinnot päätimme tällä kertaa painottaa erityisesti figujensa maalauksessa ja mallauksessa vaivaa nähneille ja lisäjoukot lähtivät varmasti oikeisiin osoitteisiin. Myös armeijalistat olivat varsin pehmeitä vaikka pari Knightia julkkariviikonlopun kunniaksi nähtiinkin.
